Readers discover ad actual organic farm where wildlife characters are as real as people. In book (1) the conversion of the soil is brought back to life with the "wiggly jiggly worms". In book (2) readers learn the finer points of vegetable growing. In book (3) readers follow Lydia Ladybird and discover why wildlife is so important. Finally in book (4) we meet the customers and learn why box schemes help children enjoy more vegetables.
